Parker W. Babington, MDNeurosurgeon
Dr. Babington is a board certified neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of spinal pathology and conditions. He graduated from the University of Virginia as an Echols scholar. Then, after completion of a general surgery internship, Dr. Babington completed neurosurgery residency at the George Washington University. While in residency, Dr. Babington trained and performed surgeries at George Washington Hospital, Fairfax Inova Hospital, Children's National Medical Center, and the National Institutes of Health while operating with several world-renowned surgeons. Since graduating, he has remained at the forefront of spinal surgery innovations and has helped develop new spinal surgery instruments and hardware. He is the founding member of the only Barricaid annular closure device Center of Excellence on the East Coast and continues to focus on minimally invasive spinal techniques and new therapies in spine care.
