Our physicians are both researchers and leaders in this area, who can help you separate fact from fiction in a field where often hype and hope dominate over science.

We practice the responsible use of these innovative treatments and will help navigate you through the confusion, controversy, and science surrounding these novel therapies.

Regenerative treatments include.

  • Knee arthritis
  • Tennis elbow
  • Jumpers knee (patellar tendinosis)
  • Hip bursitis associated with a tendinopathy
  • Certain types of spinal conditions

Regenerative medicine is an emerging and evolving field of medicine that seeks to alleviate symptoms associated with painful musculoskeletal conditions as well as potentially repair tissue damaged by way of degenerative conditions, disease, or injury.

Regenerative medicine utilizes one’s own cells or growth factors in order to amplify the body’s healing response or reduce
inflammation and pain.

Let our physicians provide you with the latest science to determine if these treatments may help with your back or joint pain.

All procedures are performed in our office and usually take about 30 minutes. A small amount of blood or bone marrow from your own body is processed through a centrifuge device to concentrate the biologic healing elements. The treatment itself is performed with a local anesthetic (numbing medication) under an ultrasound or x-ray (fluoroscope). The painful structure is then directly injected with the regenerative solution.
